Hi everyone! It is a cloudy, dreary day here in NW Illinois, but I write this a refreshed man nonetheless. I have been absent from my blogs over the past couple of weeks, choosing instead to spend time with family. But as they say, all things must come to an end.
Notice I did not say “good things” – just “things.” Not that my family time was unpleasant – it could not be further from the truth. But over the past few weeks, I have been contemplating a lot about the bad things in life as well. In my heart of hearts, I honestly believe that the verse from Ecclesiastes is true – for everything, there is a season. The bad will go away just as surely as good things don’t last.
My purpose in starting this blog was to lobby for better workplaces for everyone and to put an end to the “Iron-Fisted” rule of tyrants in the workplace. With that in mind, the following article is worthy of note. This article is a good way to get back to the business at hand – our mutual quest to make workplaces functional and productive.
